Graduates take low paid jobs

Over the past 5 years, the number of graduates to take low paid jobs has gone up 50% due to an over supply of new graduates. Like anything in life if the market gets flooded with a service or product, it can dilute the rest of the service forcing a lower price. This has particularly been the case since Labour came to power and preached the mantra, “education, education, education”. The graduates with relevant work experience are more likely to be given jobs as competition reaches unprecedented levels.
